This subject has undergone a dramatic reconfiguration since this was drawn. It was an early entry in what I planned to make a full sketchbook of studies from pictures I received. The model is a friend who similarly felt out of sync with their body. Neither of us realized at the time that this drawing would be a memorial to a penis that had already served its purpose.
